Mike Ashley's retail company (Sports Direct) has upped its earning forecast for next year to £155 million, because of the increased sales of team shirts generated by the World Cup,

The company's underlying pre-tax profits rose by 38.8 per cent in the 26 weeks to October 25th.

So much for us Toon fans snubbing his stores ... the rest of the world seems content to shop there.
