Alan Shearer, is to be honoured with a North East Legend Award at a fundraising dinner at Newcastle's Civic Centre on Tuesday, November 25.
Last year's winner of the Legend Award was Malcolm Macdonald.

Included in the ticket price is a three-course meal, live music, a question-and-answer session with Shearer and the chance to bid for top auction prizes.
