Owen Promises Goals

Michael Owen is confident he will soon be back on the goals trail, as he completed 83 minutes of Friday's friendly against Brazil at Wembley without finding the net.
Michael Owen: "I am not concerned about my game. I know it has been a long time out, but I am just happy to be back out on the pitch now, not feeling any problems in my knee.
"I have had plenty of time to get used to it again, as I was back at the end of April with Newcastle in the Premiership.
"I have been on the go playing in the first team since then and am up with the pace of the game and I feel fine.
"It is probably best that people do judge me just by my goals, because that is what I have always done, score goals. I am just pleased to be back, without any aches and pains, feeling fit within myself and so goals are the least of my worries.
"Of course, I would be lying if I said I was not looking forward to my next goal. But I would also be lying if I said I was worrying about it."
