Terry was out of this world ... and it pains me to say it ... but Smoggy winger Stewart Downing was world class, covering every blade of grass on that pitch.

Gone are the stuttering, hesitant, clueless performances of the Steve McClaren era. In their place there is calmness and precision.

Capello: "When I started this job I said we had to recover the confidence.

If Owen wants to impress, it MUST be in a Newcastle shirt. The Italian is not going to throw a half-fit Owen into the fray, like the Smoggy did.
