It was a very subdued Joe Kinnear last weekend, not only because he saw his side gift Wigan a point in the dying seconds of the match on Saturday, but because the fans seem to have turned on him.
The one-man pitch invasion seemed to hit our "interim manager" rather hard, and he seemed shocked when his decision to substitute Jonas Gutierrez in Saturday's draw with Wigan brought boos from the home supporters.

After the game he was as low as I can remember seeing him in all his time at the club, and for the first time he hinted he couldn't see a future for himself ... "I'll probably be gone in two weeks time".
Kinnear: "The supporters booed the substitution of Spiderman because he is a crowd favourite, but I am here to get results, and I felt he was struggling.
"He looked tired at times, and I said to Chris Hughton I found it strange, because he's an athlete.
"Obviously I'm concerned about the Argentina game, as he's had a long time out with a dislocated collarbone, and isn't fully fit yet."
For God's sake ... Gutierrezhas been called up by new Argentina technical director Diego Maradona because he has been in the starting-line up for Newcastle.
Unlike Michael Owen ... who Kinnear insists (according to The Sun) should be playing for England tomorrow night!
