Glenn Roeder has told us all he is not interested in players in the 30-plus age range, and has already turned down the chance of signing Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink from Boro.
The man is now giving a trial to young French starlet Garra Dembele, who is capped at Under-20 level for the World Cup semi-finalists.
He is currently under contract at Auxerre.
