As we reported yesterday (and can confirm today) ... Maceo Rigters has snubbed the advances of Newcastle United and moved to Ewood Park.

Blackburn chairman John Williams was relieved to have finally secured the services of Rigters for an undisclosed fee after the striker turned down offers from Newcastle,
Celtic and
Rangers.
The 23-year-old leaves NAC Breda on a four-year deal after a passing a medical at Ewood Park on Monday.
Williams: "We have been following him for some time after Mark Hughes identified him as a player he would be interested in."
Rigters' arrival however could be an indication that Blackburn expect to lose Benni McCarthy.
