Bramble Could Snub Portsmouth

Although the deal with Pompey seemed "cut and dried" since Titus Bramble was released by Newcastle, there could be an interesting twist in the tale.
New Wigan boss Chris Hutchings is reportedly looking to snatch Bramble from under Harry Redknapp's nose and make the England Under-21 international his first signing as Wigan manager.
Former Ipswich defender Bramble was released by Newcastle last month, but
Portsmouth have made it known since January they were prepared to gived the 25-year-old a new start in the Premiership.
The Latics chief, who was handed the reins following Paul Jewell's decision to step down after keeping the club in the Premiership, needs to fill the gap left by veteran Arjan De Zeeuw's exit from the club.
